Justice have announced an original score album for GTA VI, due out in December 2026, and shared a new track called 'Pusher' featuring Gesaffelstein. The news lands less than three weeks before the game's release and confirms that the music of Leonida will get its own life outside the console.
What was announced
As reported by mxdwn Music, the French duo are lining up a GTA VI original score album for a December 2026 release. That means the music composed specifically for the game, not the licensed songs you'll hear on the in-game radio stations.
Alongside the announcement comes 'Pusher', the first taste of the record. As EDMTunes points out, it's the Justice and Gesaffelstein collaboration that electronic music fans had been waiting on for a long time, and it finally arrives through a Grand Theft Auto game.
There's no exact release day yet and no tracklist. Formats haven't been detailed either, so it's worth waiting for official info before assuming anything about vinyl, streaming or bonus tracks.
What it means if you're waiting for the game
GTA VI is still set for a November 19, 2026 release date on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. With the score album landing in December, day-one players will be able to listen to the music outside the game a few weeks later, once they've already explored a good chunk of Leonida.
It's also a hint about the game's mood. Bringing in big names from electronic music for the original score fits the neon-soaked, late-night Vice City look we've seen in the trailers. The big question is where 'Pusher' will actually play in-game: chases, heists or just cruising down the coast at night.
For longtime fans it's good news in its own right. GTA soundtracks have always been a huge part of the series' identity, and a dedicated album for the music written for this entry means you can enjoy it properly, without sirens and gunfire in the background.
What we still don't know
A few things are still open: the exact December date, how many tracks the album will include, whether more collaborations are coming and whether more singles will drop before the game launches. We'll update this article as soon as there's more.
